The culminating component of the Year 7 Connections program is a 4-day Film Festival, where students work in a group of 7-8 students to plan, film, edit, and present a 3-minute short film connected in some way to one of the key Quaker testimonies: Simplicity, Peace, Integrity, Community, Equality, and Earthcare. Each year there is a different symbolic prop, which must be incorporated in a creative and meaningful way. The symbolic prop for 2020 was ’bell’.
