The presentation will include a brief discussion about the Festival and a screening of examples of past entries. I have heard through the Bridge Film Festival contacts in the UK that student film productions are underway with the goal of submission into next year’s event.

While in London, I will be lodging at The Penn Club. The Club is not a formal Quaker institution, but was founded after World War I with funds remaining from the Friends Ambulance Unit. The club maintains "the traditional Quaker values of integrity, equality, tolerance and simplicity, honesty and fairness in all our dealings." There is a library with with Quaker books and pamphlets in the Edward Cadbury Room. Sounds like I'll fit right in.
During the week I will do my best to blog about the adventure. It is my hope that this endeavor will lead to a closer relationship between our international network of Friends schools. Cheerio!
