Next Stop Westtown School and the Quaker Youth Leadership Conference

Below are listed interesting things I found recently on the web: blog posts, or questions/comments from the Bridge Film Festival online communities – reflections on the festival and videos from our international world of Quaker education. I encourage you to review them for yourself and please send me any ideas or suggestions to share on this blog.

Next Stop Westtown School and the

Quaker Youth Leadership Conference

On Friday evening February 7th, I will be presenting an hour of films from the Bridge Film Festival at the 17th annual Quaker Youth Leadership Conference hosted by Westtown School, West Chester, PA. At past conferences I have presented during the Saturday morning workshops and in 2010 I was honored to be the keynote speaker. The Friday night time slot is a first and should be a little more relaxed and fun.  I will present the same show earlier in the evening to the staff and students of Westtown School who are not attending the conference. The films to be presented will be compiled from the BFF YouYube channel.  After the conference I will share the playlist here and on the channel.

When you set out to make a movie, the more planning ahead you can do, the better. Figuring out exactly what you'll be doing during a shoot saves your crew time and labor, and saves you, the producer and/or director, from cost overruns and production headaches...

Playlists and subscriptions have been updated and links to the BFF Gift Shop and Blog have been added to the Bridge Film Festival YouTube channel. To help support the festival and your fellow student filmmakers and schools simply subscribe to the channel and view their films on-line.  This really does help spread the word and raise awareness of many concerns.
